Twin Houses
The plot originally contained one 3000sqft two storey post war house, and we were able to obtain planning consent for two new four storey houses of 6000sqft each. The properties were designed to complement local building styles and were differentiated from each other to enhance their premium appeal.
Traditional detailing was used internally with the use of profiled cornices, carved, skirtings and architraves and an open tread staircase. These complemented the very modern kitchen and bathrooms.
As the site was sloping we were able to use the slope of the land to construct a semi basement level, making these houses substantial homes when viewed from the rear.
