Ivy House

Having been briefed to replace a poorly design and constructed conservatory, we advised the client that the house would benefit from an extended and reconfigured kitchen and drawing room. The finished project included a new orangery extension which replaced the conservatory, a side extension to the living room, an improved the drawing room, larger kitchen, and a porch.

With the use of materials similar to the original house, the new extensions look authentic. The detailing of the orangery with its timber sash windows, panelled glazed doors, traditional lantern roof light and cast iron rainwater goods, complement in style the newly designed and spacious kitchen.

The radical internal remodelling has completely transformed the house from a dark and claustrophobic environment into a light and spacious family home.
